DJ Khaled is quickly becoming the Quincy Jones of the hip hop game. DJ Felli Fel is another wax master that is on this same swagger so expect more DJ's to do this, too. Other screaming "we da best..." Khaled carries no lyrics on this track. It's up to each artist to come with his 16 bars and with the exception of Ace Hood, who is a rookie when it comes to records, everyone brings it. The song is slightly disjointed because every artist brings his uniqueness to the song rather than trying to bring the styles into a complimentary whole.
The approach works here because the rhymers all know that they song is about grinding and they tell how they do it. Without the unnecessary claims about robbing and stealing from their fellow man. And you have to commend Khaled. Who would have ever thought Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, with their totally diverging styles would be on the same record and get a banger rating.
