MC Mushmouth is back and he's brought out another artist that is perceived as a big gun. That perception is more than likely false, but that's another paragraph. Plies does have a real big gun and that's the sample of Babyface and The Deele's song "Two Occasions." Ashanti even sings the most famous line in that song, "I only think of you..."
MC Mushy pushes the boundaries of radio play when he talks about "rubbing on Oscar" and he offers "S.O.D. - sex on delivery" and the worst offender "I'm your owner, you're my property," but in the current state of the radio industry, dealing with all the bad hip hop that's pushed on us, they probably won't bat an eye (or ear) at those lyrics even though they used to. They were more responsible back in the day.
MC M.U.S.H. lets Ashanti stretch all 7 notes she can sing so he can add her "featuring" credit, but he would have been okay on this song with any other singer. Adding her name to the song won't make the listening public rush to iTunes to buy this one. With the exception of her karaoke song that stole every single note of Notorious B.I.G.'s "One More Chance," what has anyone really wanted to hear from her.
MC MushTalk puts together another one that isn't any good, but it'll be a hit, which is a sad commentary on what the record corporations think of as good music.
